Understand the Changes Leaders Will Face

Acclaimed futurist Susan Cannon will look forward, predicting the challenges leaders will need to navigate over the next thirty-five years, and backward, exploring the history of the co-evolution of leadership with society.

Understand How to Focus Your Personal and Organizational Development Goals.

Morrow-Fox and Metcalf will then step in to share their “strategist competency model” of leadership, focusing on the seven competencies leaders need to demonstrate consistently to effectively manage the volume and complexity of change they will face going forward. Based on the work of developmental psychologists and reflecting post-conventional worldviews associated with increased complexity in thinking, strong emotional intelligence, and conscious behavior, the model’s efficacy has been verified with extensive research and observations within a wide range of organizations. Metcalf and Morrow-Fox will walk participants through the competencies and discuss how each impacts an organization’s ability to navigate the challenges leaders face.
