Touching on contemporary global issues and drawing on his recent books Leading Wisely and Leadership Unhinged, Manfred Kets de Vries shares his thinking on leadership in this conversation from ILA’s 2022 Global Conference. Kets de Vries is an ILA Lifetime Achievement award winner as is the session moderator Ron Riggio.

He brings a different view to the much-studied subjects of leadership and the dynamics of individual and organizational change, applying his knowledge and experience of economics and psychoanalysis. During the pandemic, he spent much of time writing, producing an incredible number of new books including: Leading Wisely: Becoming a Reflective Leader in Turbulent Times; The Daily Perils of Executive Life: How to Survive When Dancing on Quicksand; and Leadership Unhinged: Essays on the Ugly, the Bad, and the Weird.
