Robin Frye

Robin Frye, Program Officer, The Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences.  Robin T. Frye discovered her passion for management and leadership shortly after joining the Rockefeller Center at Dartmouth in 2009. Since then, she has lent her experience and expertise in implementing leadership programs for undergraduate students at different levels of maturity and developmental stages. Frye is trained and certified in life and career coaching by the International Coaching Federation and uses these techniques when advising students for personal and professional growth. Frye also has expertise in marketing, which she uses to develop strategies for program outreach. Currently, she is responsible for managing the Rockefeller Center’s Management and Leadership Development Program (MLDP) and organizes student workshops for professional skills development. She is committed to continuous quality improvement and develops and improves administrative systems to support all the Center’s programs with other team members. Frye serves as a co-chair of the Success, Opportunity, Achievement, and Results (S.O.A.R.) committee, made up of local non-profits that shares knowledge and professional development opportunities for all providers in order to most effectively serve the people of the Upper Valley. Frye earned a B.A. in marketing from Franklin Pierce College and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Liberal Studies at Dartmouth with a focus on cultural studies.

Sadhana Hall

Sadhana Hall, Deputy Director, Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences. Sadhana Warty Hall’s commitment as both a teacher and practitioner of leadership reflects a deep dedication to justice and empowerment both locally and globally. She has applied her experience in management and strategic thinking to community development in institutions ranging from New Hampshire and Vermont to Tuvalu, Armenia, and Bhutan. As the current Deputy Director of the Rockefeller Center for Public Policy at Dartmouth College, Hall manages operations and oversees the curricula of high-impact leadership and mentoring programs. In recognition of her work, Sadhana has received Dartmouth College’s Sheila Culbert Distinguished Employee Service Award, the Australia Government’s Endeavor Executive Leadership Award to adapt and implement leadership curricula for Australian Indigenous communities, and acceptance into the Fulbright Specialist Program. Over the past few years, over 25 students in the Center’s leadership programs, who have also participated in other organizations throughout Dartmouth, have gone on to receive awards including the Rhodes, Truman, Fulbright, Knight Hennessey,  Schwarzman, and Pickering scholarships. She is the co-author of Teaching Leadership: Bridging Theory and Practice and expects that her second book, Leadership Blueprints: Adopt, Adapt, and Adjust will be available In April of 2021. Hall earned an M.A. in history from the University of Rajasthan, India. She also completed an M.P.H. in public health from the University of North Carolina in the United States.

About the Hosts

Lauren Bullock

Lauren Bullock is an Assistant Professor of Instruction at Temple University, where she teaches leadership development and public relations courses. Before transitioning to full-time faculty, Lauren led the university’s leadership development co-curricular programs for six years. Before joining Temple in 2008, Lauren worked in athletic administration at Florida State University and the University of Texas at Austin. Currently, Lauren is writing her dissertation in leadership and change management at Antioch University. Her research interests include faculty-student interaction, generational theory in higher education, purpose and meaningful work, and groups and team dynamics. She works with Dan to set project goals, research and write episode scripts and descriptions, contact guests, craft social media content and strategy.

Dan Jenkins

Dan Jenkins, Ph.D., co-host of the Leadership Educator Podcast is Chair and Associate Professor of Leadership & Organizational Studies at the University of Southern Maine (USM) where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in leadership and organizational theory, research methods, and leadership education. Before joining the faculty at USM, Dan was an academic advisor and co-director of the leadership studies minor at the University of South Florida while also teaching Political Science courses at Hillsborough Community College. Before working in higher education, Dan worked for John Hancock Mutual Funds, in hospitality at various restaurants and sports arenas, for the Florida House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations, and as a staff member and volunteer in gubernatorial and school board election campaigns. Dan is a co-author of The Role of Leadership Educators: Transforming Learning and has published more than 40 articles and book chapters on leadership education. Dan mixes and produces the podcast, works with Lauren to curate guests, and researches and prepares content for episodes.
