Kathy Guthrie
Dr. Kathy L. Guthrie is a professor in the higher education program at Florida State University. She serves as director of the Leadership Learning Research Center and coordinator of the Undergraduate Certificate in Leadership Studies. She currently serves as the editor for the New Directions in Student Leadership series and the chair of the Committee for the Advancement of Leadership Programs in ILA. Her research focuses on leadership learning outcomes, socially just and culturally relevant leadership education, and professional development of student affairs administrators.
Rich Whitney
Dr. Rich Whitney is a professor of organizational leadership and an Assistant Dean at the University of La Verne. With a commitment to leadership education, Rich has spent his career developing programs that foster personal and organizational growth. His work spans higher education, student affairs, and leadership training, with a particular focus on program development, experiential learning, and leadership competency. A scholar, Rich has co-edited and authored books and articles on leadership theory, program development, and leadership education. His approach to leadership and experiential education is what foster his consulting, presentations, and work on editorial boards.
