Comfort Okpala shares some leadership implications from her book, which looks at leadership at Historically Black Colleges and Universities as well as assessment, students, and faculty at these special institutions. Presenter will highlight assessment at HBCUs, the characteristics of exemplary academic leaders including HBCU presidents, leadership of university’s Board of Trustees, women leaders at HBCUs, and the influence of ethics and faith on HBCU leadership.

Comfort O. Okpala is Professor of Leadership Studies in Leadership Studies and Adult Education at North Carolina A & T. State University.
