Building Bridges to Inclusive Leadership Through the Lens of Cultural Narratives
Due to unforeseen circumstances, this webinar has been cancelled. It may be rescheduled at a later date. Panelists will challenge Western-centric leadership models by exploring how diverse cultural backgrounds, social identities, and lived experiences shape leadership styles and effectiveness globally. In particular, they will share perspectives from non-Western, Indigenous, and female viewpoints that have been historically overlooked in mainstream leadership discourse.

An Indigenous American Vision of Leadership
Using a common American metaphor, Art Blume suggests that not only do many of today’s leaders have difficulty seeing the forest for the trees, many leaders have difficulty seeing how the trees and the forest are connected to the rest of the natural world through the air, the soil, and the water.

Leading From Stillness
Leaders can learn to lead from a place of stillness – recognizing their own potential to react to situations and seeking to be free of clouded judgement by remaining open and aware of what is happening.

I’m Gonna Walk With You
Ex-professional bodyboarder Brendan Newton – recruitment manager for the Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience (AIME) – joins Scott to discuss his work inspiring others and serving the disadvantaged.
