Distinguished Leadership Award

This award is presented to individuals whose contribution to the understanding of and/or practice of effective leadership are significant and have resulted in extraordinary impact. Recipients bestowed the Distinguished Leadership Award serve as inspiring examples to all who labor to make positive change in this world.

Awardees are typically recognized from the region of the world where that year’s Global Conference is held, honoring the rich leadership traditions and contributions of that part of the world. Awardees are chosen and affirmed by the ILA Board and Executive Committee, in consultation with the chair of that year’s Global Conference, and are recognized in person at the ILA Global Conference.

ILA members who wish to suggest a potential honoree are welcome to email ila@ilaglobalnetwork.org by 1 January of each year for that year’s Global Conference. While submissions are not part of a formal nomination process, all ideas are appreciated and considered.
