About the Book

This book provides the reader with tips and insights on how they can become better leaders themselves. These insights and tips are explained by utilizing the context of dogs, with examples featuring various dog breeds used throughout the book. This emphasizes what one can learn from these various dogs’ traits and characteristics. Some of the topics that the book covers include concepts like ‘resilience’, ‘courage’, ‘patience’, ‘respect’, ‘kindness’, ‘authenticity’ and ‘trust’. The various chapters in this book will provide the reader with insight on why it is important for human leaders to embody these various concepts and qualities.

Aditya Simha is a Professor of Management at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Washington State University. His research interests are in leadership, organizational behavior, and business ethics. He has published articles in journals like Journal of Business Ethics, Academy of Management Perspectives, Group & Organization Management, Journal of Medical Ethics, Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine, among others. He has written two books called Leadership Insights for Wizards and Witches and Learning Leadership from Dogs.
