Speaker Information

Jason Fararooei is a Strategic Communications Professional with 15 years’ experience creating and delivering leadership/corporate training initiatives, organizational communications and end-to-end multimedia campaigns for clients across academia, Fortune 500 and non-profit sectors. Jason collaborates with senior leaders to improve organizational performance, excellence and effectiveness by creating new ways of thinking. Jason holds an M.A. in Organizational and Strategic Communication from the Knight School of Communication at Queens University, a B.A. in Communication from DeSales University and an A.A.S. in Television Production from Northampton College. Beyond his professional life you’ll find Jason backpacking the Appalachian Trail, motorcycling and shooting street photography.

Kim Weller serves as faculty in the Knight School of Communication at Queens University of Charlotte. With expertise in Organizational and Strategic Communication, Dr. Weller teaches on campus and online courses in topics related to organizational change, branding, and creativity and innovation. As a Learning Consultant, Dr. Weller helps organizations develop creative and engaging in-person and online learning experiences, including effective strategic learning objectives, curriculum, and instructional design. Kim was recently named a Wiley Faculty Fellow in recognition of her innovation in teaching and learning online. Dr. Weller earned a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of South Florida, a M.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
