This webinar considers the need for positive and effective leadership. It introduces what authentic leadership (AL) entails, and how it relates to various forms of positive leadership. It highlights the positive impact individual and team authentic leadership effectiveness (ALE) typically has across various personal and organisational contexts. More specifically it explores the impact of AL on enhancing inter-relational trust, and individual and team leadership effectiveness.

More importantly, the webinar explores the criteria that are important in the development of individual and team ALE. It highlights the process involved in developing individual ALE. The concept of an internal AL Compass is introduced, upon which an individual AL effectiveness charter can be developed against which leaders regulate their behaviour and performance. It further highlights the process involved in developing team ALE, which also culminates in a team AL Effectiveness Charter, against which teams achieve their team and organisational outcomes.

Finally, the webinar considers important criteria that need to be present in these ALE development journeys, both for the participants and the facilitators of such AL development journeys.
