Dr. Kathy Allen and Rian Satterwhite join Scott to discuss the frameworks of sustainable, regenerative leadership and the context for all leadership practices – the global biosphere we all reside it.
Dr. Kathy Allen specializes in leadership coaching and organizational change in non-profit organizations, foundations, small to mid-sized businesses, community development, higher educational institutions, and collaborative networks. Kathy’s most recent book is Leading from the Roots: Nature Inspired Leadership Lessons for Today’s World.
Rian Satterwhite serves as Director of the Office of Service Learning & Leadership at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and teaching faculty at Claremont Lincoln University. A long-time member of the ILA, he serves on the Steering Committee for the ILA Sustainability Leadership Member Community and the ILA Committee for the Advancement of Leadership Programs.

Scott J. Allen, Ph.D., is an award-winning educator passionate about working with people at all levels and across industries. He spent more than 20 years as a professor of management, and his areas of expertise include leadership, leader development, the future of work, and executive communication. He is the founder and Principal at S & J Allen, LLC and formerly the Robert M. Ginn Institute Professor for Leadership & Social Responsibility at John Carroll University.
Scott has published more than 60 book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles. He is the co-author of The Little Book of Leadership Development: 50 Ways to Bring Out the Leader in Every Employee; Emotionally Intelligent Leadership: A Guide for College Students; Captovation: Online Presentations by Design; and the textbook Discovering Leadership: Designing Your Success (2023).
