Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Virtual Summit

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging - Virtual Summit 25-26 August 2022. A Call to Awareness, Advocacy, Action, and Transformation for Inclusive Leadership and Organizations

A Call to Awareness, Advocacy, Action, and Transformation for Inclusive Leadership.  Join the ILA community and others who are passionate and purposeful about Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) from a global perspective as we examine the intersectionality of the components of diversity for two days of empowering speeches, deep dive workshops, and information-rich roundtable discussions.

Theme Statement & Call to Action

On 25th and 26th of August 2022, ILA will host a live online conference that will explore how leadership & practice drive inclusion and belonging for the greater good.  Hear from thought leaders who are raising AWARENESS for DEIB through LEARNING & ADVOCACY that impact social justice and equity; deep dive into workshops to learn innovative practices and cutting-edge theories addressing the ‘how’ organizations and global communities come together to cultivate leadership in ACTION to drive meaningful change; ultimately co-creating, sharing, and implementing best practices for creating and sustaining equitable, diverse, and inclusive groups, organizations, communities, and societies. Further explore leadership research, theory, learnings, and practice how driving change at an individual and organizational level, can contribute to inclusion in the corporate, non-profit, and NGO sectors, as well as society at large, while gaining a deeper insight about global inclusion practices and DEIB journeys in various markets. Engage in post-event networking opportunities for continued engagement, sharing of best practices, and research collaboration.

Group Invoicing Option

Need to pay for a group all at once?  If your organization has a group of 5 or more, we can provide a group invoice option instead of paying 5+ individual invoices.  If you would like to pay for a group of registrants, please email deib@ilaglobalnetwork.org with the subject line “Group Invoice.” If you have the names of the registrants, please provide the names in the body of the email.  Once the invoice is paid, we will provide a discount code associated with the group invoice that should be distributed to your attendees to use during the registration process.

Please note: Group invoicing does not register your attendees for the event.  Each attendee must still complete the registration form themselves using the discount code linked to the group invoice.

Event fees are non-refundable.  In an event of a cancellation, please email deib@ilaglobalnetwork.org

If the person who registered cannot attend and you wish to make a substitution, please email deib@ilaglobalnetwork.org by 10 August 2022. Depending on the complexity of the request, the ILA reserves the right to assess a $30 change fee.

Call for Proposal – Interactive Roundtable Discussion

The Deadline to Submit has passed.

An Interactive Roundtable Discussion (IRD) is part of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) summit experience.  IRDs are designed to foster connections and to create discourse around research ideas and best practices. The Program Committee is seeking IRD submissions that address cutting edge theory and research and explore innovative ideas.  The IRDs should stimulate dialogue and potential future collaboration to create and sustain equitable, diverse, and inclusive groups, organizations, communities, and societies

Accepted proposals will take part in the IRD session at the August virtual conference where the presenter(s) will frame the topic, pose questions, and facilitate a discussion with participants who join the table. During the session participants will have the opportunity to move to other roundtables or remain with one throughout.  Formal presentations are not appropriate for this format.  All accepted presenters are required to register for the conference.  ILA does not waive registration fees or provide speaking stipends.

Proposals for an IRD must include a title, short description, a detailed abstract that includes the questions to be discussed, and approach.
